Ohm's Law Calculator

Calculate voltage, current, resistance, and power instantly

Enter any two values to calculate the others

Formula

V = I × RP = V × IP = I² × RP = V² / R

Ohm's Law states that V = I × R, where V is voltage, I is current, and R is resistance. Power can be calculated as P = V × I.

Example: If you have a 12V battery and a 6Ω resistor, the current flowing through it would be 2A (12V ÷ 6Ω), and the power dissipated would be 24W (12V × 2A).
